Self Awareness and the Power of Embracing All of You
Dear Reader, At Rehoboth Safe Haven, we walk with people every day who are discovering that healing starts within. This month, we want to share an empowering message about self-awareness and why both your strengths and weaknesses matter. Have you ever hidden part of yourself out of fear or shame? You’re not alone and you are not beyond healing. We invite you to explore a tool called the Johari Window a way to better understand yourself and build healthier relationships. The Johari Window has 4 areas: Open – What you and others know about you Blind Spot – What others see in you that you don’t Hidden – What you keep private Unknown – Your untapped gifts and growth areas Here’s the truth: You are more than your mistakes. You are more than your trauma. You are still healing—and that journey deserves grace, not judgment. “You are still growing. You are still healing. And you still matter.” As we counsel survivors and build safe spaces, we witness transformation happen when people stop hiding from themselves and start embracing their full story. Don’t give up on yourself. You are worthy of care, hope, and second chances.
